Utah On-Site Camping
Miss out on a spot?
If you have missed out on camping, but would like to be notified if spots open up, please join our notifications list where we send out updates on availability!
Camping at Takeover events is one of the best ways to make memories with your families and thousands of your newest friends! These campgrounds are located within the event area and have direct access to facilities, vendor row, activities, and the trailhead.
Due to these campsites selling out every year, we work with the Sand Hollow State Park to reserve these locations to coincide with the release of event tickets. This way everybody has an equal opportunity to score the best camping experience at Takeover! All campsite reservations must be made through the Takeover website for dates during the event.
Notes for Campers
- All campgrounds and parking areas have direct access to the Sand Hollow State Park, event areas, and endless opening riding areas.
- On-site camping requires you to wear your event wristband to get in and out of the Sand Hollow State Park and thus the campgrounds. Wristbands are NOT included, buy them here.
- NEW FOR 2023: Class A vehicles are NO LONGER allowed onto the sand during the event! We’ve tried our best to accommodate these large Class A RV/Motorhomes each year with the help of our Dozer Team, but they inevitably always get stuck, typically resulting in body damage, and unfairly tie up the dozers and crew that would otherwise be helping other campers. Please consider purchasing camping in one of our graveled camping sites like Sand Pit or Lake View campgrounds, or an Off-Site Campground.
